Toulon airport (TLN) 

 

Toulon-Hyères Airport, opened on April 1, 1967, serves the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and most of the Mediterranean tourist corridor in France. It operates with domestic flights and some international destinations within Europe.

Annual passenger traffic: Around 510,000 passengers went through it in 2015.

The airport is located 23 km (14.3 miles) to the east of Toulon and 53 km (33 miles) southwest from Saint-Tropez.

Bus - Réseau Mistral (Tel +33 494 038 700) operates services to downtown Hyères (line 63 - 10 minutes journey), running by the port and the bus terminal, and Toulon city centre (ñine 102 - 30 min.), via the train and bus station. From there you can board daily trains to Marseille and Nice. The fare is €1.40 and schedule times depend on flight arrivals and departures. Intermediate stops include Arromanches, Peupliers, Niepce, Branly, Simenon, Fontètes, Provence, Malon, Bourgeois, Champ de Mars, Clemenceau, Dardanelles. Varlib (Tel +33 494 246 000) offers daily transport to Saint-Tropez in 1 hour and 30 min., going through La Londe, Bormes, Le Lavandou, Rayol Canadel, Cavalaire, La Croix Valmer, Gassin and Cogolin. Taxi - Cabs available outside the Arrivals area. The fare to downtown Hyères is €17.00-23.00, to Toulon is €48.00-55.00 and to Saint-Tropez is €100.00-110.00. Prices are higher between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am. The exclusive operator at the enclosure is Taxi Hyères Aéroport (Tel +33 494 006 000).

The airport has an ATM, postbox, meeting room, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access.

Food and Drinks- In the Departures area there is a restaurant.
Shopping- Duty-free articles in the Departures Hall, souvenirs, books, newsagents, tobacconists.
Baggage- Trolleys available in the Arrivals and Departures Halls, in front of the terminal and in the car parks. The lost and found office is situated on the Arrivals level (Tel +33 494 008 317).

It is essential to inform your airline about your needs at the moment of booking or at least 48 hours in advance. To request assistance at the airport, call Tel +33 613 546 226 / 494 008 345. Escort services are offered for unaccompanied minors between 4 and 12 years old. Inside the enclosure there are designated parking spaces close to the terminal, ramps, escalators, lifts and adapted toilets.
