Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, also known as Roissy Airport and opened on March 8, 1974, is the largest in France and one of the busiest in the world. It operates with domestic and international flights to the main destinations in all continents.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals 1, 2 and 3, open from 4:00 am to 0:00 am. The automatic metro CDGVAL connects all terminals to each other from 4:00 am to 1:00 am and is replaced by a shuttle bus at other times. On the other hand, the different parts of Terminal 2 are linked through several buses.
Annual passenger traffic: 69.4 million passengers went through it during 2017.

The airport is located 25 km (16 miles) to the northeast of Paris.

Bus - A great variety of services from different operators is available to downtown Paris and locations in the surroundings. Journey time to the city is 45-60 minutes.

Train - Line B from RER (Tel 3658) leaves every 10-20 minutes to Gare du Nord (25 minutes trip), Châtelet-Les-Halles and Denfert-Rochereau, with a fare of €11.40.
In addition, from the station located between terminals 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F depart the North, South and West lines from TGV (Tel +33 892 353 535) and trains from Thalys (Tel +33 825 842 597) to several destinations, such as Lille, Strasbourg, Dijon, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nantes, Poitiers, Rennes, Toulon and Brussels.

Taxi - Ranks are located outside the baggage reclaim area of all terminals. Avoid drivers offering their services outside these points. The trip to downtown Paris costs €50.00-55.00 and takes around 45 minutes. Prices are higher between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am. The airport has a bank (Mondays through Fridays from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm), ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (4:00 am to 11:00 pm), post office, VIP lounges, charging stations and Wi-Fi access free of charge (in addition to pre-paid premium services). Hotels inside and around the grounds provide conference rooms.

Food and Drinks- Throughout all terminals you can find several restaurants, fast food outlets, cafés, bars and vending machines. There are options with international and local cuisine.
Shopping- There are duty-free stores in the three terminals, in addition to retailers selling sweets, fashion and accessories, souvenirs, jewellery, electronics, books, newspapers and magazines, perfumes, cosmetics, tobacco, alcoholic beverages.
Baggage- Carts available in the parking lots. Left luggage service in Terminal 2, from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm (Tel +33 148 160 215). Secure wrapping in the Departures area of all terminals. Lost and found office in the train station of Terminal 2, level 3, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm (Tel +33 170 363 950).
Other Services- Pharmacies, medical centre, photo booths, prayer rooms, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, games, cinema, art gallery, spa, massage chairs.


There are numerous options for short- and long-term parking, with 10 different car parks. The first 10 minutes of stay are free in all lots. There are also exclusive motorcycle parking areas close to Terminal 2. Rates

PG - Outdoor car park linked to Terminal 2G via a lift.
P3 Résa - Available 24 hours a day only through previous reservation, in front of Terminal 3, uncovered.
PR & PX - For long stays, outdoor, connected with the terminals by the CDGVAL metro.


Notify your airline or travel agency about your requirements at the moment of your booking or at least 48 hours in advance. Transportation services in and around the enclosure are equipped for the transfer of passengers with reduced mobility. Unaccompanied minors between 4 and 12 years old will be escorted by the airline staff from the check-in process and supervised during the flight. There are reserved parking spaces, induction loops for the hearing-impaired, accessible counters, escort services, contrasting signage, moving walkways, escalators, adapted telephones and restrooms.
