Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport, opened in 1917, is one of the busiest in France. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Europe, Northern Africa, North America, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals A and B, situated inside the same building, and Terminal Billi (for low-cost flights), within walking distance. Open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Location

The airport is situated in Mérignac, 10 km (6 miles) to the west of Bordeaux.

Car rental search

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (6:00 am to 9:00 pm), workstations and Wi-Fi access free of charge for 2 hours. Hotels in the vicinity have meeting and conference rooms. The Hall A Lounge is available from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm after the security control of Terminal A; it provides beverages and snacks, newspapers and magazines, relax area, workstations, Wi-Fi (only for flights departing from Terminal A).

Food and Drinks- Throughout the three terminals you can find restaurants, fast food outlets, coffee shops and bars.
Shopping- Duty-free goods in the Departures area of terminals A and Billi. There are also convenience stores, newsagents and shops selling sweets, perfumes, accessories.
Baggage- Free trolleys inside the terminals and the parking lots. Secure luggage wrapping opposite the check-in counters of Terminal A and facing gate 10 in Terminal B (Tel +33 675 396 755). Lost and found office in the Departures area of Terminal B (Tel +33 556 345 000).

Bus - Line 1+ from Tram et Bus de la CUB (Tel +33 557 578 888) connects the airport with Saint Jean train station through downtown Bordeaux and Mérignac. It also serves Parc Kennedy, Mérignac Soleil, Barrière Judaïque, Gambetta, Palais de Justice and Victoire. The fare is €1.60 and tickets can be acquired at the forecourt of Terminal B. Journey time is around 45 minutes and it operates every 10 min. (every 20-30 min. on Sundays) between 5:00 am and 0:20 am (from 6:00 am to 0:00 am on Sundays). At Poste de Mériadeck you can board line 3+ to Quinconces Terminal and in Mérignac city centre you can access tram line A.
There is also a direct airport shuttle (30'Direct) from Terminal B to Bordeaux Saint Jean train station, Mondays through Fridays between 8:35 am and 8:30 pm, Saturdays from 8:45 am to 6:00 pm and Sundays from 9:45 am to 6:30 pm. Tickets have a cost of €8.00 and the trip takes 30 minutes.

P0 - Multi-storey car park with covered and outdoor bays 1 minute away from Terminal A.
