Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, opened on September 20, 1936, is the largest in Estonia and serves not only the capital, but the entire country. In addition to domestic flights, it operates with several important destinations in Europe.

The airport is located 4 km (2.5 miles) southeast from the city of Tallinn.

The airport has currency exchange bureaus (6:00 am to 11:00 pm), ATMs, meeting rooms and free Wi-Fi access. The Business Lounge is located right after the security checkpoint, on the second floor, and opens since one hour and a half before the first flight until the last; the maximum stay is 3 hours and it provides a children's area, library, sleeping pods, smoking area, massage chairs, beverages, snacks, newspapers and magazines, computers, fax, TV, air conditioning, showers, Wi-Fi (access with Priority Pass, Lounge Club, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €30.00).

Food and Drinks- Throughout the terminal there are several bars, fast food outlets, restaurants and coffee shops.
Shopping- There are duty-free shops in the passengers area, plus stores selling clothing and accessories, souvenirs, sweets, toys, electronics, beverages, tobacco, newspapers and magazines.
Baggage- Secure wrapping in the check-in area, available 90 minutes before each flight (Tel +372 5923 1111). Left luggage service at the airport's information desk and lockers on the ground floor (Tel +372 605 8888). Bus - Public transport line 2 (Tel +372 1345) travels to the city centre and Mõigu, with stops at Reisisadam, Tornimäe, Keskturg, Sossimägi, Pühamägi and Kaabli. It operates Mondays through Fridays between 6:00 am and 11:40 pm and weekends until 10:40 pm. Journey time is around 10 minutes. Bus 49 runs to Kaubajaama, Tubaka, Kalevipoja, Laiaküla and Viimsi, with departures on weekdays from 5:30 am to 9:15 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 am to 9:20 pm. Route 65 runs from the airport to Lasnamäe via Ülemiste jaam (train station), Valukoja, Tubaka, Vesse, Pikri, Virbi, Loitsu, Vana-Kuuli, Meeliku, Katleri, Priisle, Raadikusilla and Mustakivisilla. The bus leaves from Monday to Friday between 5:20 am and 11:10 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 6:50 am to 11:00 pm. Both services have a fare of €2.00 and tickets can be purchased from the driver.
There are also long-distance buses provided by Tpilet (Tel +372 680 0900) that stop at the enclosure on their way to Tartu.

Tram - Next to the terminal there is a station where you can take line 4 to the city, between 5:30 am and 0:45 am. The fare is €2.00 and travel time is 15-17 minutes. Stops include the train station (Ülemiste jaam), Sikupilli, Majaka, the bus station (Bussijaam), Paberi, Hobujaama, Vineeri and Tondi.

Taxi - Ranks are found directly in front of the terminal doors. Official airport operators are Tulika Takso/Tulika Premium (Tel +372 612 0000), Tallink Takso (Tel +372 640 8921) and Airport Taxi. The trip to the city centre takes 10-20 minutes.
