Layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Although the terminal closes one hour after the last flight (approximately at 11:00 pm) and reopens two hours before the first, if you arrive before they close for the day and show your flight reservation, where it says you have a flight early in the morning, authorities will let you spend the night inside the enclosure. In this way, passengers with a low budget will avoid extra expenses in transport and hotels.
Where to rest: There are plenty of comfortable seats with no armrests and sofas which are ideal for sleeping. Floors are carpeted and are usually very clean. As activities cease before midnight, the place is usually pretty quiet, which allows for a good rest. According to many passengers, Tallinn airport is one of the best in Europe for this. If you have a bigger budget, there are two hotels in the vicinity. Another option is to access the Business Lounge by paying at the door (€30.00) or with different memberships; there are more amenities here, as well as sleeping pods, but it closes at night and the maximum stay is 3 hours.
Baggage: Lockers are available on the ground floor, with fares by the hour or by the day. Keep in mind that public attention closes at the time of the last flight and only opens the other day.
Eating and drinking: Shops close after the last flight and reopen two hours before the first.
Restrooms: Showers only inside the VIP lounge.
Wi-Fi: The airport has a free and unlimited connection.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, library, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, prayer room.
