Copenhagen airport (CPH)

Copenhagen Airport, also known as Kastrup Airport and opened on April 20, 1925, serves the city of the same name and Malmö, Sweden. It is the largest in Denmark and the busiest in the Nordic countries. It operates with domestic and international flights to numerous destinations in Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals 2 and 3, open 24 hours a day. A complimentary shuttle service connects the terminals and parking lots around the clock every 10-20 minutes.
Annual passenger traffic: 30.3 million passengers went through it in 2018.

The airport is located 8 km (5 miles) to the southeast of the city.

Bus - There are services from DOT (Tel +45 7015 7000) that leave from the enclosure: line 5C - Skottegårdsskolen, Sundbyvester Plads, central station, Rådhuspladsen, Bellahøj, Husum Torv; 35 - Dragør Stationsplads, Tømmerup, Amagerhallen, Sundbyvester Plads, Irlandsvej; 36 - Korsvejens Skole, Nøragersmindevej. Travel time to the city centre is 55 minutes.
On the other hand, line 999 from Graahundbus (Tel +45 4468 4400) runs to Sydhavnen, Hovedbanegården, Skånegården and Malmø, in Sweden.
In addition, there are long-distance services provided by Flixbus (Tel +45 3272 9386) and Nettbuss (Tel +46 771 151 515).

Train - The airport station is found beneath Terminal 3 and above it there are offices where you can acquire tickets. Trains from DSB (Tel +45 7013 1415) run to Copenhagen central station in 10-15 minutes, with a frequency of 10 min., and to other destinations inside Denmark (Elsinore, Bornholm) and Sweden (Malmö, Ystad, Göteborg/Kalmar).

Metro - The station is situated at the end of Terminal 3. The metro operates in intervals of 4-6 minutes during the day and every 15-20 min. at night. The trip to Nørreport Station, in the city centre, takes 15 min. Other stops include Kastrup, Femøren, Øresund, Lergravsparken, Amagerbro, Frederiksberg, Lindevang, Flintholm and Vanløse. Taxi - There are cabs outside Terminal 3, with exclusive services to Sweden. Travel time to downtown Copenhagen is 15-20 minutes.

Timetables and schedules


Several areas available for short- and long-term parking, fenced, with charging stations for electric vehicles, security personnel and surveillance cameras 24 hours a day and shuttle buses to the terminals. P1, P3, P5, P9-P12 - Located 5-10 minutes away from the terminals, with covered and outdoor spaces.
P4, P6-P8 - Car parks with direct access to both terminals, indoor and heated. Valet parking service in P6, from 4:00 am to 4:00 pm.
P15, P17, P19 - Economy lots further away from the main building.


Facilities include ramps, elevators, adapted toilets and reserved parking spaces. Passengers can receive special assistance by previous request from their point of arrival until boarding the aircraft. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted by airport personnel to the departures gate and will be supervised during the flight.
