Aalborg Airport, opened on September 4, 1936, serves the municipality of the same name and is one of the largest in Denmark. It operates with domestic and international flights to the main destinations in Europe.

The airport is located in Nørresundby, 6.5 km (4 miles) northwest from the city of Aalborg.

The airport has an ATM, meeting rooms and free Wi-Fi access for 1 hour. The Aalborg Airport Lounge is located on the first level and opens from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm; it provides air conditioning, beverages, snacks, Wi-Fi, charging stations, TV, magazines and newspapers (access with Priority Pass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door).

Food and Drinks- Bar and fast food outlet after the security checkpoint, fast food outlet and vending machines in the public area.
Shopping- Inside the terminal there are duty-free stores, perfumes, cosmetics, spirits, sweets, tobacco, toys, accessories, fashion.
Baggage- For enquiries about lost property, contact the Cargo Service Center from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Tel +45 9635 7766).

Bus - Buses from Nordjyllands Trafikselskab (Tel +45 9811 1111) depart from in front of the passenger terminal. Line 12 travels to Universitetet, Vejgaard, Aalborg, Nytorv, Vadum and Aabybro, line 24N to Vesterbrogade, Nytorv, Aalborg and Hadsundvej, route 200 goes to Blokhus, Aabybro and Aalborg bus terminal (20 minutes), bus 70 runs to Aalborg, Aabybro, Fjerritslev and Thisted, and line 71 connects the enclosure with Løkken and Hjørring. More information

Taxi - Ranks are situated outside the Arrivals area. Available operators are: Dan Taxi Aalborg (Tel +45 9810 1010), Dan Taxi Hjørring (Tel +45 9892 4700), Dan Taxi Thisted (Tel +45 9792 0422), Frederikshavn Taxa (Tel +45 9842 1998), Himmerlands Taxa (Tel +45 9837 3737). The trip to the city centre takes 10-15 minutes.

 

There are several parking areas for short and long stays and charging stations for electric vehicles. Fees

Direct Parking - Directly across from the terminal building. The first hour has no charge.
