Prague Václav Havel Airport, opened on April 5, 1937, is the busiest in Central Europe and experienced one of the greatest growths in the continent in the last years. It operates with domestic and international flights throughout Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America.

Number of Terminals - 4 - Terminals 1 (non-Schengen flights), 2 (Schengen flights), 3 (private and charter flights) and 4 (VIP flights), open 24 hours a day. Terminals 1 and 2 are located next to each other.
Annual passenger traffic: More than 15.4 million passengers went through it in 2017.

The airport is located 10 km (7 millas) to the west of Prague.

Bus - The service is provided by Dopravní podnik hlavního mesta Prahy (Tel +420 296 191 817). Bus 119 connects the airport with Nádrazí Veleslavín (metro line A) in around 15 minutes, with frequencies of 5 to 20 min. Intermediate stops include Dedina, Nová Sárka and Divoká Sárka. Route 100 goes to Zlicín (metro line B), with a journey time of 18 min. Line 191 runs to Petriny, Vypich, Andel and Na Knízecí in 50 min. Bus 910 is a night service to I.P. Pavlova and Na Beránku that leaves from 11:50 pm to 3:55 am. Stops are located in front of the Arrivals Hall of terminals 1 and 2. Tickets can be acquired at the airport information booths, desks situated in the Arrivals area and from automatic machines located at the stops.
On the other hand, the Airport Express (Tel +420 221 111 122) operates every 15-30 min. from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm, providing a direct connection with Prague central train station. The trip takes 25 min.
There are also intercity services from RegioJet (Tel +420 841 101 101) and Flixbus (Tel +420 228 880 001) to several destinations.

Taxi - Official operators are FIX Taxi (Tel +420 220 113 892 / 220 117 078 / 722 555 525) and Taxi Praha (Tel +420 220 414 414), with counters in the Arrivals Hall of terminals 1 and 2. The trip to the city centre takes 20-30 minutes.

P1 & P2 - Short-term car parks directly opposite the terminals. The first 15 minutes have no charge.
PA - For long periods, adjacent to Terminal 2.
PB - Economy lot situated next to the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 2, with outdoor spaces.
PC - Covered, situated by Terminal 1 and with access to Terminal 2 via a footbridge. VIP spaces available.
