Brno-Turany Airport, opened in 1954, is one of the busiest in Czech Republic. It operates with regular and charter international flights to destinations in Europe and Northern Africa.

The airport has an ATM, currency exchange services (Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, weekends from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm) and free Wi-Fi access. The Business Lounge is located on the first floor and opens since 2 hours before the first flight until the last; it provides air conditioning, newspapers, magazines, conference facilities, Wi-Fi, TV, refreshments, drinks (accessible with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, or by paying at the door).

Food and Drinks- Two bars and a fast food outlet are available in the Departures Hall, and a restaurant in the Arrivals area.
Shopping- There is a store with duty-free items after the security checkpoint and a shop with tobacco, newspapers, magazines, souvenirs, accessories.
Baggage- Secure luggage wrapping next to the check-in counters. Lost and found office in the Arrivals Hall (Tel +420 545 521 309 / 310).

Bus - DPMB (Tel +420 543 174 317) operates line E76 to Brno central station, via Smahova, Rípská, Cernovicky, Trzní, Masná and Vlhká, with a journey time of about 20 minutes, while bus N89 is a night service with the same route that leaves from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. Buses depart from in front of the Departures Hall and tickets can be purchased at a vending machine located in the Arrivals area, at the Airport Shop or from the driver. More information

Taxis - The official operator is City Taxi Brno (Tel +420 542 321 321 / 777 014 004), available 24 hours a day. Ranks are found across from the Arrivals Hall. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 20 minutes.


The parking area is fenced and located in front of the passenger terminal. The first 15 minutes of stay are free of charge. Payment can be made at the office of Air Service Brno (Tel +420 545 521 175), situated in the Departures Hall, or at automatic machines in the Arrivals and Departures areas. Fees


Passengers are required to ask their airline or travel agency for assistance no later than 48 hours prior to their scheduled flight departure. Once at the airport, announce your arrival at Tel +420 545 521 600 or at the office of the operations manager (to the right of the check-in counters).
