Zadar Airport, opened in 1968, is one of the most important in the country. In addition to domestic flights, it operates with several destinations throughout Europe.

The airport is located in Zemunik Donji, 7 km (4.5 miles) east from Zadar.

The airport has a bank, currency exchange bureau (6:30 am to 10:30 pm), ATM and free Wi-Fi access. In the International Departures area is situated the Business Lounge, with beverages, snacks, Wi-Fi, TV, magazines, newspapers, air conditioning; it opens on Thursdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Saturdays from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and the rest of the week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (accessible with Priority Pass or DragonPass membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €25.00).

Bus - There are services from Liburnija Zadar (Tel +385 2334 3700) that operate from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm. They run from the airport to Zadar main terminal and Liburnska Obala, with a trip of 25 minutes. They leave from in front of the International Arrivals area. Timetable and route

Taxi - Cabs available during the airport's working hours outside the International Arrivals Hall. Journey time to the city centre is approximately 15 minutes.

Opposite the terminal building there is an uncovered parking lot for short and long stays. The first 10 minutes are free of charge. Rates

 

Designated parking spaces are available, as well as an ambulift for boarding. Passengers requiring special assistance should get in contact with their airline prior to their arrival. An escort service for unaccompanied minors is also offered.
