Layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
San Juan airport operates with many flights and connections, so it is frequent to see passengers walking around at night and waiting for their flight departure. If you decide to spend the night inside the enclosure, consider bringing earplugs and something warm for a better rest. Security controls close at night, and afterwards passengers will have to remain in the public area until the morning.
Where to rest: While you may find some benches without armrests inside terminals A and B, the best place for resting is the hallway connecting both buildings, as it is the quietest spot. On the other hand, in Terminal C there is a VIP lounge with more amenities, but which closes at night. On the second level of Terminal D there is a hotel.
Baggage: Left luggage service on the second floor of Terminal D.
Eating and drinking: Eateries close at night.
Wi-Fi: Access only for a fee.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, convenience store.
