Layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Puerto Plata airport is open 24 hours a day. However, it is a small place with limited facilities, so you will not find many things to do while you wait.
Where to rest: As there are not many comfortable spots inside the terminal, it is likely that you will have to lay on the floor. It is recommended, therefore, to have a sleeping bag or blankets. On the first level there are a couple of VIP lounges you can enter by paying or through different memberships. Keep in mind, however, that these close at night. SEE VIP LOUNGES Some of the nearby accommodations can provide a shuttle service if you book in advance.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices inside the enclosure.
Eating and drinking: On the first level you can find a coffee shop open during the night.
