Grantley Adams International Airport, also known as Seawell Airport and opened in 1956, is one of the busiest in the Caribbean. It operates with flights to the entire Caribbean region, North America and the main destinations in Europe.

Annual passenger traffic: More than 2 million passengers went through it in 2016.

The airport is located 16 km (10 miles) to the east of Bridgetown.

Bus - There are services between 6:00 am and 0:00 am that stop on the road in front of the airport with a frequency of one hour. Line 12A - Fairchild Street, Rockley Beach, St. Lawrence Gap, Oistins, Sam Lord's Castle, Shrewsbury; 12D - Rock Hall, Oistins, Fairchild Street; 12F - Fairchild Street, Hastings, Oistins, Rock Hall; 27 - Kirtons, Thornbury Hill, Oistins, St. Lawrence, Hastings, Eagle Hall, Batts Rock Beach, Fokstone Park, Speightstown.

Taxi - Vehicles available around the clock outside the terminal. Official cabs display a yellow logo with the legend Authorised Taxi. Fares are fixed and are shown outside the customs area. The trip to the city centre takes 25 minutes.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, post office, mailboxes, VIP rooms, mobile phone charging stations, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access.

Food and Drinks- There are bars, coffee shops and restaurants serving local and international food.
Shopping- Duty-free articles in the Arrivals and Departures area. There are also convenience stores, souvenirs, handicrafts, jewellery, fashion, cosmetics, books, music, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, toys.

The enclosure has a parking area situated close to the terminal and with spaces for short and long stays. It operates 24 hours a day and payment can be made at automatic machines in the Arrivals and Departures Halls. In addition, there is a payment counter in the Departures area. Prices
