Krabi International Airport, opened on July 10, 1942, serves the resort beach area of the Andaman Sea, in the Indian Ocean. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Asia, in addition to some charter flights to Europe.

Bus - There are services several times a day (or when the bus is full) to central Krabi (30 minutes trip) and Ao Nang (1 hour and 30 min.) between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Tickets can be bought in the Arrivals Hall, at the taxi counters. There are also minibuses that run to the hotel areas of Ao Nang, Klong Muang, Tubkaek, Krabi and Koh Lanta.
Taxi - Official cabs offer fixed fares that must be pre-paid at the desks located inside the terminals. The trip to the city centre takes around 20 minutes.
In front of the terminal buildings there is a small parking lot for short and long stays.
Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should arrange the proper services with their airline or travel agency at least 48 hours before their arrival.
