Don Mueang International Airport, opened on March 27, 1914, operates with low-cost flights in the area of the capital of Thailand and is generally connected with domestic tourist destinations. There are also international flights to neighbouring countries and destinations in Southeast Asia and the Far East.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 (international flights) and Terminal 2 (domestic flights), open 24 hours a day and connected every 15 minutes through a shuttle bus service.

Bus - There are several services that leave from the Arrivals area of both terminals: Line 29 - Lak Si, Mo Chit, Hua Lamphong, Victory Monument, Sam Yan; 510 - Lak Si, Mo Chit, Saphan Khwai, Victory Monument; 555 - Lak Si, Dusit Palace, Suvarnabhumi; 59 - Bangkhen University, Ladprao, Saphan Kwai, Chatuchak; 554 - Lak Si, Ramintra, Suvarnabhumi; 187 - Din Daeng, Rajvithi, Victory Monument, Charoen Krung, Si Phraya Pier; 538 - Din Daeng, Victory Monument, Rama Hospital; 504 - Don Din, Silom. Bus A1 runs to Bangkok bus station every 30 minutes between 7:00 am and 0:00 am and departs from gate 6 of Terminal 1 and from gate 12 of Terminal 2. There are also free services between the Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports.
The Airport Limo Bus Express (Tel +66 991 918 800) goes to Ploenchit, Lumpini Park, Khao San Road, Silom, Ratchadamri and Pratunam from 9:30 am to 0:30 am, with a frequency of 30 min. It leaves from gates 6-8 of Terminal 1 and gate 14 of Terminal 2.
Train - The station is found 500 meters away and is connected to the enclosure through a bridge on the second floor of Terminal 1. Services depart from there to Hualamphong, in the city centre, where you can make connections throughout the country. Travel time is around 50 minutes. More information: Tel +66 2220 4272.
Taxi - Ranks are located outside the Arrivals area of both terminals. It is advised to have your destination written in Thai. The trip to the city centre can take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic.
There is a seven-storey parking facility in front of the terminals. The service counter is situated on the third floor of the building, close to the elevator. More information: Tel +66 2535 1247 / 1605.
Passengers requiring special assistance should contact their airline prior to their arrival. Inside the enclosure there are elevators, adapted toilets and telephones, and designated parking spaces. Unaccompanied minors between 8 and 11 years old will be supervised by the staff from the corresponding airline through the necessary procedures.
