Queen Alia International Airport, opened on May 25, 1983, is the main airstation in Jordan. It operates with international flights to the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, North America and the Arab countries in Africa.

Annual passenger traffic: More than 7.4 million passengers went through it in 2016.

The airport is located in Zizya, 32 km (20 miles) to the south of Amman.

Bus - A Sariyah Express (Tel +962 6489 1348 / 1073) shuttle operates every 30-60 minutos from 6:30 am until 0:00 am between the enclosure and the city's north bus station. Journey time is around 45 minutes and buses depart from in front of the Arrivals Hall. Services to different destinations leave from Amman, such as Madaba, Al Ruseifa, Al Salt, Al Shuneh Al Janoubieh, Al Zarqa, Jerash, Irbid, Ajloun, Al Azraq, Al Karak, Al Shobak, Aqaba, Al Ghour Al Shamali and Al Ruayshid.

There is a short-term area in front of the main building and a car park for long stays a little further away, but connected to the terminal through a shuttle service with no charge. Elevators, ramps and adapted toilets are available, as well as reserved parking spaces near the terminal entrance. You can also request special assistance at the information counter.
