Bus - West Bengal Surface Transport Corporation (Tel +91 332 511 8238) operates buses between the airport and several destinations in the city at regular intervals, from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm. Train - The enclosure is connected to the Kolkata Suburban Railway system (Tel +91 971 763 0982). This links the airport's Biman Bandar Station with Dumdum, Majerhat and Sealdah. It operates between 6:35 am and 10:27 pm. Journey time to the city centre is 15-30 minutes. More information
Taxi - Pre-paid vehicles from Yellow Taxi (Tel +91 332 511 1201) and radio-taxi services from Mega Cabs (Tel +91 334 141 4141) are available around the clock. Reservation desks are located on the Arrivals level, between gates 3 and 4. The trip to the city centre takes 40-120 minutes, depending on traffic.
