International travel to Mongolia is allowed. You need to meet the requirements to ensure entry is allowed.
If another country has been visited in the previous 14 days that is considered high risk, travelers will not be allowed to enter Mongolia. There are exemptions for citizens, who must remain in quarantine for 10 days upon arrival at a government approved hotel, at their expense. During this period, travelers must perform two PCR tests. Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, using an approved vaccine, are exempt from quarantine requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before the trip.
Travelers must be quarantined for 14 days upon arrival at their own residence or accommodation. Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from quarantine requirements and can provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test, issued at least 14 days prior to arrival and no more than 4 months prior to arrival.
Upon arrival, proof of a negative PCR test must be presented, taken within the previous 72 hours.
Travelers must undergo a PCR test upon arrival.
