Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport
Bari airport is open 24 hours a day, but generally there are few people during the night, so it will be a quiet stay. However, it is recommended to have a sleeping mask, headphones or earplugs, as lights remain on and the cleaning crew can be noisy.
Where to rest: The quietest place is the upper floor, although seats here have armrests. This means that your best option will be to lay down on the floor. Have a sleeping bag or blankets handy for a better rest. Inside the terminal there is also a VIP lounge with more amenities, but it closes at night. On the other hand, just outside the grounds you can find a hotel.
Baggage: There are no left-luggage services inside the airport.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close during the night. Have some refreshments ready in advance.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, nursing rooms.
The Parco dei Principi Hotel Congress & Spa is found immediately outside the airport. Some alternatives nearby are:
