Spending the night at the airport
Johannesburg airport operates with many flights and connections to destinations around the globe, so it is frequent to see many passengers walking around late at night, waiting for their flight departure. There are many commercial stores inside the terminals, but most of them close around 11:00 pm.
Where to rest:
The enclosure has numerous seats, but they generally have armrests. However, it is possible to find padded benches without armrests in some of the restaurants, the transit area and on the Departures level of Terminal B. There are several VIP lounges in case you have a bigger budget, and one of them is even open 24 hours a day. SEE VIP LOUNGES
In Terminal A there is a transit hotel, and there are other options around the grounds.

Eating and drinking: Terminal B has a restaurant that remains open throughout the night.
Restrooms: There are showers only inside some of the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free for 4 hours.
