Spending the night at the airport
Cape Town airport does not offer many things to do while you wait for your flight, but it opens 24 hours a day, so you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure. Although it is a quiet place at night, lights remain on, so it is best to have a sleeping mask.
Where to rest:
You will find plenty of seats throughout the terminals, but most of them have armrests. Your best bet is the viewing deck, where there are padded benches. At the same time, the terminals have several VIP lounges, although these are closed at night. SEE VIP LOUNGES
A few meters away from the grounds, on the other hand, are located two hotels.
Baggage: There is a luggage storage office on the ground floor of car park P2.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close around 9:00 pm.
Restrooms: Restrooms available only inside some of the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free for 4 hours.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
